Course Details

The duration of B.E / B.Tech course is four academic years and for Integrated M.E / M.Tech is five years. The academic year for the Course commences in the month of July every year.

Eligibility

The candidates should have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete this age on 31st December of the year of admission

The candidate should have completed the two years intermediate / HSC or equivalent course thereof, with science subjects, viz. English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized Indian University of Pre-University

The candidate should have secured not less than 60% of marks on the aggregate of the Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in the qualifying or competitive examination conducted on similar lines as the qualifying examination conducted by a competitive body.

The candidate should be medically fit

How to Apply

The application and prospectus for B.E / B.Tech and Int. ME/M.Tech for the year 2014-15 will be issued from 23rd Jan 2014 onwards

Application can be obtained on payment of Rs 500/- Demand Draft taken in favor of Saveetha University, payable at Chennai in person, or Demand Draft for Rs 550/- by post

Application can also be downloaded from the website www.saveetha.coom, and the completed applications forms should accompanied by a DD for Rs 500/- taken in favor of Saveetha University, payable at Chennai

Completed application form should reach ‘the Director of Admission’, Saveetha University, Saveetha Nagar, Thandalam, Chennai-602105 on or before 26th June 2014

Important Instructions:

The application form should be filled in block letters in the candidate’s own handwriting using blue/black ball pen

Affix a recent passport size photograph in the spaces provided in the application form

The application form must be filled up in all respects. Incompletely filled application forms will be summarily rejected

The university is not responsible for any postal delay

Important Dates

Last Date for receipt of Applications: 26th June 2014

Counseling and Verification of Documents: 30th June 2014

Last date of payment of fees and completion of admission procedure: 10th July 2014

Commencement of course: 16th July 2014

Note: Completely filled in application form. One stamped envelope affixed with Rs 50/- stamp self – addressed to the candidate. A Demand Draft of Rs 500/- favoring Saveetha University should accompany the completed applications if download from the website.
